  2026-083-PIP-ETD	Supply of Lightweight Standalone Fault Location System for High Voltage Power Cables	Acquisition of a standalone light weight cable fault location is a strategic necessity to safeguard the integrity of Bahrain s high voltage underground network and to ensure a continuous power supply. The required integrated fault location system shall combine several specialized techniques to transform a complex underground failure into a manageable repair task. It should include an Insulation Resistance and DC Hipot testing, followed by a Time Domain Reflectometry TDR. Moreover, the system shall be equipped with Burner as well as high energy Surging Thumping that allow technicians to physically pinpoint the fault s location above ground.
