Service Information

This service involves the removal of electricity meters and associated services, such as overhead and underground, to facilitate the renovation or demolition of your property.

Application Process

  1. Pay any outstanding bills and submit application using EWA service channels

Documents Required

  1. Official ID:
    • Nationals and Residents
      ID card copy or ID card reading data 
    • Non-residents
      Passport copy 
    • Commercial customers
      Copy of the Commercial Registration Certificate or Establishment Certificate 
  2. Technical Services Application 
  3. Copy of title deed including aerial map 
  4. Copy of survey certificate 
  5. Copy of demolition certificate 
  6. No-objection letter from the owner (tenants only)

Service fees

Service fees calculated based on electricity load and technical considerations in accordance with regulated pricing.

Service Steps

  1. Submit Application

  2. Site Inspection
    Application is reviewed and a site inspection is conducted to check the service type, whether overhead or underground, and the number of meters that need to be removed
  3. Site Work
    Prepare for site work to remove the services
  4. Your Service is Complete
