EWA President Receives Delegation from the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat)
H.E.P. Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of the Electricity and Water Authority, received Dr. Ayman Ibrahim Kamel El Hafnawi, Representative of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Head of the Programme Office in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Eng. Mohammed Dadabhai, Chief Engineer at the Programme.
During the meeting, both parties discussed areas of mutual cooperation between the Electricity and Water Authority and UN-Habitat, and reviewed current and future projects and initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable development and promoting the exchange of expertise in fields of common interest.
