Al Dur Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Power Station Project
EWA is set to launch an ambitious project to establish a solar power station in Al Dur area of the Southern Governorate of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This initiative aligns with the national objectives of diversifying and sustaining energy resources, contributing to the overarching goals of Bahrain's energy transformation plan.
Establishment of a solar power station in Al Dur, the Southern Governorate of Bahrain, to diversify and sustain energy resources as part of Bahrain’s energy transformation plan.
Expected to produce between 90 to 100 megawatts of solar power.
Project is located on two adjacent sites covering 830,000 square meters and is integrated into the grid via the 66/11 kV Al Dur BSP Substation.
Supports the National Energy Strategy (NES) by contributing to renewable energy targets of 5% by 2025 and 20% by 2035 in the overall energy mix.
