Register for the Fixed Monthly Billing Service
In line with the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Electricity and Water Authority is offering Bahraini citizens the opportunity to register for the Fixed Monthly Billing Service for their first residence with retroactive effect.
Upon registration, EWA will credit customers’ accounts with the difference between the bills issued from May to September 2026 and your average monthly bill for the year.

How Is the Fixed Monthly Bill Amount Calculated?
The fixed monthly bill amount is calculated based on your average monthly bill for the year.

How Is the Credit Balance Calculated?
The credit balance represents the difference between the bills issued from May to September 2026 and your average monthly bill. This credit balance will be added to your account to be used towards your bills.

Conditions for Using the Credit Balance
- The account should be subsidised.
- At least six months of bills must be available to calculate the fixed monthly bill.
- Registration in the Fixed Monthly Billing Service must be completed by 31 October 2026 to benefit from the credit balance.
