This facility is designed to produce 10 million Gallons of Potable Water daily from Brackish groundwater, enhancing Bahrain's water supply capabilities.

Hawar Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plant

To support the development projects in the Hawar Islands, the Electricity and Water Authority is planning to build a seawater desalination plant in the main island of Hawar. The plant's initial production capacity is one million gallons per day, while its storage capacity is two million gallons. Both production and storage capacities are extendable, to cater for future demand according to the development programs of Hawar Islands.
