Minister of EWA: A distinct role and clear touches for Bahraini engineers in achieving sustainable development



​Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, congratulated all the engineers working in the public and private sectors on the occasion of the Bahraini Engineer’s Day, which falls on Thursday, October 15, 2020, wishing them continued success and repayment.

The Minister of EWA said that this day reflects the extent of appreciation and gratitude to the engineers, and thanked them for the efforts they exert to raise the nation’s status in the various development sectors.

The minister continued his speech and said that the engineering profession has its prominent role in actively participating in pushing forward progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain, just as the Bahraini engineer has clear touches in the industrial, construction and investment renaissance on the land of the Kingdom. His Excellency the Minister thanked all the engineers working in the various sectors in the Kingdom with special mention. Employees of the EWA for their efforts to develop engineering work.

At the end of his speech, His Excellency the Minister congratulated the Bahrain Society of Engineers, and expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Society since its establishment, and the Minister praised the role it plays and its interest in development projects in the engineering field, and that the Electricity and Water Authority confirms its support for the pioneering role that the Society plays towards engineering work and society in general.

He stressed that the celebration of the Bahraini Engineer’s Day is an opportunity for meeting and merging between several generations in one occasion, which is a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences and transferring them from experienced engineers to the modern generation of them, wishing all the engineers continued​ success.
