The Minister of EWA
receives Dr. Issa Qambar and receives from him two books on electric vehicle
charging and energy system market planning

Al Mubarak, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, received in his office
Dr. Issa Qambar, a former professor of electrical engineering and energy at the
University of Bahrain.
At the beginning of the
meeting, H.E the Minister welcomed Dr. Qambar and discussed his latest books,
which were carried out with the participation of Dr. Eng. Mohammed Al Hamad,
Director of Marketing Operations at the Gulf Electricity Interconnection
Authority, under the title (Smart Grid and Integrated Infrastructure for
Charging Electric Vehicles: A Future Vision), specifically the chapter
(Development of Infrastructure for Charging Electric Vehicles). and
technology), and a review of the types and specifications of electric cars that
were manufactured in the world.
The second book (energy
system market planning) was also viewed, which includes seven chapters, where
the electric energy market, electric energy policy, security and evaluation
were discussed, in addition to shedding light on the study of the energy market
for the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the results obtained, and
the benefits Electrical interconnection and the challenges facing the
energy market.
At the end of the
meeting, H.E the Minister praised Dr. Issa Qambar’s efforts in publishing these
books, wishing him continued success in his research and writings, explaining
the continuation of interest in this type of literature and studies because of
their importance. On his part, Dr. Qambar thanked the Minister of Electricity
and Water Affairs for his interest and encouragement.
