Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Chief Executive Officer of Al Faisal Group and local partner of TBEA China Faisal Abdullah Sharif Al Awadi.
He was accompanied by TBEA China Executive Vice President Yang Hengfan and a number of officials.
The minister gave the visitors a presentation on the projects of the Sustainable Energy Unit, including the national plan for improving the efficiency of the energy sector, the National Energy Plan and some important renewable energy projects such as the 100 MW solar power project, net metering and investment opportunities in solar energy.
The minister Mirza praised the company's projects in various fields and said they were will to cooperate with local and international companies specialized in these fields and study their offers and work on the possibility of cooperation with them according to the opportunities available.
Mr. Al-Awadhi and Mr. Hengfan thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality as well as cooperation in fields of mutual interest. He praised Bahrain's achievements in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors and in attracting major international companies.
Advisor to the minister Dr. Ahmed Hashem and a number of officials of the Sustainable Energy Unit attended the meeting.
