We at the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), are keen to provide electricity and water services at the highest level of quality and reliability to ensure sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to become a leading model for providing electricity and water services.
It is the profound belief of the Electricity and Water Authority role, that both indispensable electricity and water are strong supporting pillars of any civilizational economic development, as witnessed at the Kingdom’s growing urban developments and state-of-the-art industrial and residential fields. Amid the same EWA has taken responsibility to keep pace with meeting Electricity and Water requirements as “prerequisite”; to an extent had EWA outsource a great part of its operations to the private sector, consequently availing of managerial resources time and efforts to focus on its’ core of excellence in customer service. The private sector power stations currently produce and provide to the national networks around 79% and 73% of electrical power and potable water respectively.
The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) maintains the principle that "what can be measured can be developed". Therefore, EWA is keen to accurately weigh and measure all processes associated with provided services, as well as the interrelated processes aiming to leverage unprecedented enhancements towards guaranteeing unrivaled sustained services
